Dirty Diaper Detergent, like Rockin' Green Hard Rock and Rockin' Green Classic was designed to get cloth nappies really clean whilst also gentle and safe for your baby. This detergent contains plant enzymes and should therefore be used at 60 degrees. This is fine as all nappies should be washed at 60 degrees until baby is 6 months old.
The enzymes are most effective at removing stains up to 40 degrees. You may want to check that your machine has a 40 degree plateau. Most European machines do these days as in Europe all laundry detergents contain enzymes. Above 40 degrees the enzymes are deactivated meaning that even if the detergent is not fully rinsed out, it will not irritate baby's skin.
While Dirty Diaper Detergent includes a special enzyme blend formulated for cloth nappies, it's also great for baby and children's clothing. Use Dirty Diaper detergent on anything from bibs and burp cloths to crib sheets. The enzyme blend in this detergent is created to get deep into those delicate fabrics and gently remove residue, while extending the life of the fibres rather than wearing them down.
